looking good there! set you back much?

I agree with your comment there about the 3/5 door stilo's, why couldn't the just have added an extra two doors to the sporty shape of the 3dr, it's all the rage now.

picked it up for 600 quid, was well happy with that. (Martyn won't be...hehe) got 44000 on the clock, just need a new front bumper, scrappys the morrow. the previous owner thought himself a painter.....he was not.

the diesel one was already sold by the time i got the stilo sold. just lucky that this one came up when needed.

Looks like a great deal you got on the mk2. 1.2 8v I'm guessing? I had the more basic version in light blue with black bumpers before the Stilo. Decent enough car for sure, good potential too - maybe even an engine swap ;)

Have seen a few with Blade alloys kicking about, look pretty decent. Think 17" is as big as I'd go and I'd be more inclined to stop at 16 for the handling as ride and such was pants on my old one - night and day compared to the Stilo though dunno if Uncle Arnie just screwed up the standard set up on the Punto to make it that bad

Totally understandable on the Stilo front though, the 5 door is a total bus and not in a good way. The Abarth version's a total sleeper though :)

Nice wee Punto Craig.
I'll keep my eye's peeled for Alloys, like Mark I'd say for a 1.28v Punto 16" Alloys max....

for any punto before the Grande, 17 is too big, i had 17's on my HGT, makes the car feel like a nervous rollerskate, horrible

cheers folks, was thinking of going 15" or even keeping 14 if a nice set came up. going to be lowering her, try to take out some of the body roll, thinking this could be my wee project car....me likey

Great price, right time right place, it's always the way. I noticed a bit of red on the bumper but compared to the wheel trims doesn't too bad.

Good luck with the project, there is a lot of insparation available for the punto

GP alloys Ok, if i can get some for the right price.....looking at some 14" GT punto alloys on Ebay the now, will stick in a last minute bid, 3 days to go. |Least i can reuse my tires that are OK.
