From 2014-19 I had a 2010 169 Eleganza, one of the last 60hp Euro 4 1.2s, which I really liked. It was traded in 2019 for a brand new Skoda Citigo, which has given sterling service since. Work plus moving to the country now means my partner needs a car, so the Citigo has been joined by a 2022 Panda Twinair 4x4 Wild with 10500 miles on the clock.

First impressions are very good - 49mpg on the run back from collection, and the TA engine isn't nearly as noisy as I thought it would be. Looking forward to getting to know the car. First job will be Bilt Hamber-ing the rear spring cups and painting the engine undertray.

ACE!!! Welcome back and I really hope it goes well. 2018 model?, I was looking at one very recently. I suspect that might be it!

Yes engine under trays need the full monty or they disintegrate even if kept clean. Take it off and get both sides. Its a bit weighty though.

Welcome back. I too had a 169 and then left the group when I got rid of it. Finally came back last year with a TA 4x4. I’ve had a few problems with mine but mostly age related really as mine is 2013 and done over 100,000 miles. I really like the quirky little TA engine but just make sure you give it the exact oil in the manual- nothing else! It really does make a huge difference. Only Selenia and the right grade. They are really fun little engines- hope you enjoy it.

Nice choice, and welcome back to Panda ownership 🙂 The TwinAir 4x4 is a great little car and sounds like you’ve got a good one there. Those first jobs you’ve mentioned are definitely wise too. Enjoy getting to know it, and feel free to share updates as you go.
