General Panda as a second car… Should I?

Here is the after… a timelapse of the cleaning process is in there but not sure how the site will handle .MOV video files…

Looks swish (y)

The video worked just fine.
It came up quite well. I felt like it needed a new cabin filter yesterday and today with the windows steaming up so easily, and having to have the demist settings on… well, constantly in this season (since no A/C) but then I remembered there is no cabin filter and this is how it was.

I must admit, the humbleness of a Panda… in general is nice. But the one thing sort of bothering me is the walking up to the car and putting the key in the door. I think people looking at the car presume it’s basic enough, as are many city cars even the more modern ones, but that one with the keys I think gets the older folks thinking ‘haven’t seen that in a while’ and the younger folks wondering why I’d not just press the button. In reality… neither groups are probably thinking twice about what I’m at, but in my head anyway, feeling a bit self conscious of that!

I think there is a knack to preventing the windows from steaming up, i have learned it in the past but now forgotten again! lol

The lack of remote locking is a miss yes, it still works in my 500X and EVO, but not my GP. It used to work in my GP but i broke the key and cheaped out on a non remote one, now i find i can't get a remote without going to a dealer, and thats too much bother. I don't feel self conscious about having to put the key into the lock, its just nice to open the door before i get to the car to put shopping in, rather than putting things down while i find the key.
