Right whats the real term for it and i would be so greatfull if you could put a link on hear were i can find one i am still bogled by what other 3 wires he is using and what they are connected to fine C18 is earth, C19,C20 postive nd negative for speakers but when i e-mailed the guy he told me when he pluges his mp3 player in it playes from it and if the CDC has a normal CD in it emulates it but does not play the songs.

Google "Stereo Socket DPDT" (Double Pole Double Throw) or "Stereo Socket Switched". Maplins probably have them.

Many thanx ur a top man na all i need is someone to tell me what the second 3 set of wires are connecting in the digram is it C13 CD Bus Line, C14 CD Changer Bus Line, C17 CD Bus Earth or is it C15 CD changer +12V Supply Voltage, C16 CD Changer Switch Voltage.
