hi all
changing the discs and pads on the JTD multiwagon today I noticed the aux belt had lots of little cracks. see the pic below. Do i need to change it. The reason i ask is that with some of the machines I work with this is considered normal on same makes of belt?

that will probo be ok for a while longer, how long has it been on the car?,
my wifes belt had half of it missing when i changed it last year along with her cambelt.
check the back if thats also showing signs of cracking then your best off changing the belt, if its still smooth then your probo ok for a little bit longer.

I would advise that it be changed as soon as possible.

If it were to shred there is a possibility that the shredded parts get under the cam belt, as it did with my Laguna, and cause the belt to jump teeth - bent valves and head off, very expensive!
