I picked up the Tipo from its stay in the bodyshop. I'm now rust free and shiny! Was going to be touch and go as to if the car was ready in time. Amazing the amount of work they have got done in 4 days.
Was very nearly going to have to attend in the Weekend!
P.S. Please don't ask how much it cost. I'm still in a state of shock. All I can say is I'm not selling the Tipo for some time.

everything is well except for:-
-some arse bandit has glued up all the locks on our barn and front door and side gate.
-some double bumming arsebandit has bumped into my front wing on my car
-builders have left such a mess down the road there is about 3/4" of sand on my car
-my tyres flat, some little arsebandit has driven a rusty nail into the outer wall (yeah like I drove over it NOT)
-my exhaust is blowing somewhere, I think its the flexipipe again, or maybe the back end of cat, so its running rough as hell and sounds like a truck with no exhaust , gonna try and bodge it before I drive down (gonna drive straight down from home, don't have time to go to uni!)
anyone else have a nice surprise when they came home from hols?

*EDIT* the car parking ticket that was stuck to my window in feb is still there, it won't come off, its on with glue I reckon

RIGHT, setting off now, printing directions as we type, and I've fixed a few things.
1- parking ticket is OFF!!!! I have burned my fingers though with some nasty toxic stuff that cleans pathments of chuddy and graphity
2- I have put my steels back on (panicked because I couldn't find the locking nut tool, THEN because I couldn't find the shorter steel bolts
so I now have four wheels and tyres and they are all have/hold air
3-quickly emptied litter and junk out of car, I filled TWO Ikea blue bag things with random stuff that I carry everywhere, estimate about 30kilos in weight
see you maybe at diner tonight, but it'll be like 8-9pm
