Technical Atuo GearBox Question

Hello everyone


I have a 2007 Grande Punto with an Automatic gear box
I noticed that when I put the gear on 1 or R the car does not move by itself (like other auto car) and I have to step on the accelerator to make the car move
is that normal or do I need to fix that (some people told me that it might need a software update )

your punto isn't an "AUTO"..,
it's a "clutchless manual"

Its called dualogic which is fiats name for semi automatic. Just remember when ever you want to change to neutral, first or reverse you need to have the break fully pressed in. Also car needs be in first or reverse when you park has car doesn't like neutral when engine off just beeps for 5 seconds which is annoying. Besides that they are decent gearboxes when you get use to it. I've had mine for 6 months and love it
