Hi all, my first ever post...
I get the above warning on the '51' 1.9 JTD Stilo I bought this weekend... the warning displays, I think, if the system were to have to 'take over' when I am going round a roundabout and 'slip' on a wet drain cover (i.e. not when I first start the car). The manual seems to suggest these systems (ASR and ESP) are very sensitive to unexpected resitance on the turning of any wheel (e.g. a poorly inflated tyre).
SO, I am hoping that folks here will agree the following is the most likely - and correctable - cause: When I reverse, the rear right wheel 'moans' suggesting a slightly sticking brake.
Would this be enough to trigger ASR and ESP failed warnings?
Oh, and another quick question... I get rear right fog light bulb blown warning too. I give the exteral bulb casing a tap and the light comes on! I have read a lot on here about bulb warnings... if I pop out the cover on the underside of the boot behind the rear right fog light, is it just those connectors I should clean?
Many thanks all... now to the bodyshop forum to see about the faded red paint! ;-)
