Arrgghh..from knocking to ticking noise!!!

Well I posted on here a while back about the knocking sound coming from the front of my car, which I have been told may be a CV joint problem... it's in the garage today so hopefully that'll be the end of it.

Now I have a ticking sound from the back of my car! It goes whilst I'm driving, but if I put the rear windscreen wiper on it seems to clear, for all of about 10 seconds.

Any ideas?

I think the ticking is the rear wiper motor. Mine does it too, but it only does it once in a blue moon and it still works so i'm not too bothered.
