Technical anyone had windscreen replaced

going to have to get a new windscreen , started of as a small stone chip has now turned in to a crack now halfway up the screen in 48 hrs, autoglass cant get one till wed, is it a nightmare job worried if they disturb any of the rubbers.

Had mine done about a year ago by my local Fiat garage. I don't know how hard it is but the end result was good.

windscreen changed today sorry doc no pics seemed straight forward guys took an hour they removed the the panel with the grill and wiper arms fixed with the tarox screws under bonnet and inside doors once this is removed just like any other car only thing dont have original fiat stamp on window anymore (pilkington) apart from that good job done by autoglass

Had mine replaced a few years ago, by one of the usual windscreen companies. Only complaint was they had to take it away, it was an awful day and they needed it under cover. It was a bit disconcerting to see the chap open the passenger door first!
