Has anyone got the Nav Tech Map CD for 2003?

Please let me know if its worth getting? Has it got most of the newish roads in your area?

Yes have 2003. May edition if you need it.
e-mail or post here if you want it. It is an improvement on the last version. Mine came with the car as I had it in April but there was a card advising me to contact them for the latest at no charge.

It's worth having too. I've got a 2002 disk and a 2003 disk and there seems to be a lot of new roads on it too (mostly cul de sacs I don't go down but if they're there.....).

Then again that might just be a London thing.....

I also took delivery of the car in April, and sent the card for upgrade to NavTech, but all I received back was a pricelist !! I didn't bother to pursue it, but if the difference is as good as you say, then maybe I'll try again.

my disk was for 2002 after ringing them to register, thay very
kindly sent me the 2003 disk for free,lots of new roads around us in Warrington, try phoning next time.

I sent the form of to get the latest cd when my car arrived a couple of months ago but have still had nothing through. Maybe the cd that came with the car is the latest one already, it doesn't seem very detailed though!

I registered my navtech cd by phone on 12 august and received the 2003 update 2 weeks later, i suggest giving them a ring, it is a freephone number and they should be able to tell you if it has been sent or not.

Just called NavTech, explained that I had returned the registration card, but have not received the 1st free upgrade, and therefore currently working with the 2001 issue !! They were very helpful, apologised for not sending the update earlier, and promised to send it at the end of this month - so I will keep my fingers crossed.[:0]

NavTech do seem pretty good - I got my free upgrade no problem at all.

Boywonder - What's the problem with the detail? Is there something in particular you are expecting? I've had a couple of other sat nav units in other cars and they all are about the same detail. Seems to have all off the roads (and some dirt tracks and laybys too!).

Just received my 2003 disk from Navtech, earlier than promised so I am impressed and more than just a little pleased. Made a back-up copy to use, and keep the original in good condition, works fine.

Is there any chance anyone could copy me their setup cd for the sat nav? I seem to have mis placed mine, the nav is in italian as I've recently had it upgraded to the 9.7 version. Seems to have ironed out some of the problems the last version had, e.g. the squeek that used to happen every now and then when the lady spoke. It still doesn't solve the problem of the cd re starting from the begining which is very very anoying.

If anyone has a copy of that setup disc, I'm willing to pay postage and packaging and the 50p that the cd costs.

Any help Peeps???

Hi Ham,

I'd like a copy of the more recent map disc too if you're willing. My current disc doesn't even have the street I live in. It shows half of my estate as a barren wasteland (Which may not be THAT far from the truth )
