General Anyone got a new Bravo?

If I understand the history of Bravos (and that's pretty doubtful), did they not introduce new, multi-air engines in circa. 2010/2011, which were even more powerful and fuel efficient...? Anyone got one of those, or have I got it completely wrong?

Yes they did...

But, the engine isn´t more powerful (multi-air 140BHP, T-Jet 150BHP), but they were indeed more fuel efficient. Not much, but a bit.
Both great reliable engines.

Both engines are turbo boosted. But the multiair engine has an electro-hydraulic variable valve for air injection. That means that a computer calculates how much air (and gasoline) the engine needs. It only gives the engine the air and gasoline it needs, so there is no waste.
So it is a "smarter" engine than the t-jet, resulting in lower fuel consumption.

I assume that the 140hp is similar to the 135 that was available in the Punto for a short time? Haven't heard much about them... but the thought of 135hp in a Punto is good. I guess there was a lack of demand?

I had a Punto Evo Sporting (135bhp multiair) for two years before changing to a T-Jet sport Bravo. Both good little engines, the Multiair is a bit more refined and better on fuel. I would of really liked a Bravo with the Multiair but couldn't stretch to one. A Giulietta with one would be nice.

i have tried the MultiAir 140 in a Chrysler Delta and it felt really muted and unwilling to rev compared to the T-Jet 150

I have the 1.4 Multiair 180bhp in my Supersport. Its a nice engine and has a good standard note but cant help think it could be more efficient. Or am I being a little heavy right footed

if you mean lower mpg it's simple you need to stay off boost
