Hello Fiat lovers! I’ve just gotten myself a Fiat bravo 1.4 tjet 2007, and it started smoking from the exhaust and the PCV (oil separator/breather).
I took of the PCV unit and opened it up and noticed that the orange membrane was completely torn. So my next move would be to purchase another membrane, however I haven’t been able to find any or even the whole PCV unit. Bravos are rare here in South Africa, and the ones in the junk yards are only shells. So I thought about ordering it from eBay/Alibaba but it will take close to 2-3 months to arrive! That’s crazy. So my next move in the meantime is to install a catch can.
The can I want to buy has an IN, and OUT nozzle, how ever I have no idea what I do with the hole that’s left in the engine since that’s where the PCV was connected too. I would appreciate any advise on how to get it installed.
The blue circled hoses are the intake a exhaust im guessing (in and out), but what do I plug into the red circled hole that goes into the engine?
This is the catch can I will buy
