How it works

One person pays £7.65 a month *on Pay Monthly and £7.65 a month* on Pay & Go on top of their normal O2 bill or Pay & Go top-up.
They pick four family members or friends (who are also on O2).
All five people get unlimited calls, texts and picture messages to everyone in the group, for a month.
The extra four people don't pay anything for the Bolt On.
If you want to cancel the Bolt On, you only need to give 30 days' notice.
Manage the people in your group online.

I might be able to answer depends on the question worked for O2 but didn't have much dealings with friends and family discount

cheers shadey, not what im on about though, this is staff friends and family discount!

my question is does it take sometime for the friends and family discount bolt on to appear on myo2 in the tarrif? old phone showed it there, new one is yet to show it (phones only been on o2 network 12 hours and contract set up 24 hours ago). the person who did my new contract did put it on as saw it instore.

also, had to change contracts as the original staff member no longer worked for o2
 
if it was done at the time of the contract it should've went live at the time your phone did 12 hours ago. But that seems like a long time usually only takes a few hours. If it's not went on by tomorrow then i'd go back and check or phone customer services. Thats what they will probably do instore anyways.
 
And i don't see why you would need a new contract anyways they should've just removed the discount :confused:
