I will admit that its beyond me, but if you look at the website for fiat coupes, they have organised members cards, printed flyers and stickers for there car windows. They get discount at a load of places ect.
Anyone else fancy this sort of thing?
We could have a sticker on the windscreen saying FCUK.
Fiat.Club.United.Kingdom.

there's already a decent club - Fiat Motor Club GB

Owners CLubs

OC's are probably one of the most boring events to be honest. I have been a member of a few and unless you have a 1946 limited edition 9.3 litre this or even the rarer roadster version you are frowned upon. AROC especially after I got rid of my older cars and only had a new one!

The better thing IMO, is to have a one make register. This is where all us Bravo/a owners register the vehicle and simply have a few get togethers and produce a newsletter. In the newsletter you can advertise, have an advice column etc and then start to get advertisers which start to pay back some of the costs. Also through this you can organise trips, gatherings basically anything you want without having 65 year old Harold complaining that anyone who drives a Fiat built since 1970 should be shot.

This sounds like bitter experience....and it is! If you want to post ideas on what you want I will look into the running costs to start one up. I do not wish to run it, for those of you who dislike me:-(, as it should be a team effort but I can assist with starting it up as I have done this sort of thing before.

If you dont want to post opinion or ideas you may e-mail them.

Over to all of you then.

Paul - If this got kick started how do you want to be involved and this forum into it?

Clubs

Hi guys,
Just wanted 2 add my 2 pen'eth :)

The FIAT Motor Club (GB) has individual registers 4 almost every model of FIAT, therefore being a member of the whole club has a much more individual feel 2 it as registrars regularly contribute 2 the club mag. and r always available 2 help fellow owners.

The club also caters 4 every model FIAT ever made, so regardless of ur choice of FIAT, u r welcome and respected. There r god knows how many 126 BIS owners in there, and countless other owners of what might b called "non-exclusive" models.

Check out the website at www.fiatmotorclubgb.com . I joined at the turn of the year and have been made most welcome. There r loads of events and whether u own a classic Abarth 124 or a rusty Panda, u will not feel left out.

Running a club is a time consuming and pretty thankless task, so I c little point in starting another when there is a perfectly good 1 there already.

Worth thinking about.

Rob.

P.S. Nige, will u b at AutoItalia Day on the 26th @ Stanford Hall ? If so, we must arrange 2 meet up :)
