I have not seen that done before. The engine bay layouts are slightly different but it should be possible if you persevere.

My Marea is still, giving me lot of problems!

The local seller offer me a Brava 80 16V in change!
The Marea as better look, but...i can't find a Marea 16v for me!

You have to be happy with your car. If you think you will be happy with the Brava then accept. I have seen lots of really nice Brava's.

Talking about Marea

Hi This is my first time here with you and I'll start saying that in Brasil the Fiat group have differente Marea models such:

a 2.4 20 V 160 Hp.
and a 2.0 20 V Turbo (original) that goes to 190 HP (fasted in Brasil)

Well ,I have a turbo one 2002 model , with some other engine "triks" such a power chip, K&N monster Filter, modified hot wheel turbo to .50 and calibration ( reworked holes) on the eletronic injection nozzles.

I got on dino 280 Hp and goes from 0 - 60(100 Km/h) in only 4 seconds.

There are also many other styling modifications that I'll prefere showing in some pics.

My first question is: Is somewhere any kind of clear tail lenses?
and also someone have adapted the scissor front doors?

I need some kind of info on this,,,tks.
 
Hi just bought a 100sx weekend on a v plate 60,000 miles fsh with aircon and electric sunroof paid £2495 with £1250 px for my punto.Surprised how quick it is, but i have been driving a 1.2 punto for the last four years

I have just found this site while surfing the internet.

I have owned my "T" reg 1.8 Fiat Marea ELX 115 for almost six months. It's in what Fiat call "Red/Orange" metallic paintwork and I love it. I have had a few problems, mostly the third gear crunching when engaging over 3000 RPM, and the front light coming loose but it's been a decent car so far.

I am taking her in for a new clutch in two weeks (when I have the money for it lol). That should fix the gear problem.
 
I only have one picture at the moment, it was taken this summer just before I cleaned it. As you can see, the hub caps aren't the standard ones fitted.

I have a few problems with it: The bracket that holds the front light in place has snapped and the whole light unit moves around when the bonnet is open. Also the third gear crunches sometimes when engaged, but I am getting a new clutch fitted for this.

Does anybody else live in Kettering/Northampton/Wellingborough area who owns a Marea? If so... wanna compare lol?!?!?! :D

Been looking at the site for a while now, thought i'd better sign up.
Currently running a W reg 1.6 SX weekend, pretty standard at the moment due to limited funds and picky girlfriend but watch this space i have some ideas.
Would have liked a 2 Litre but i have hands that are wider than a fag paper and i like to lay the spanners on the motor myself.

As funds allow i'll start modding and keep you informed

I've got an R 125TD HLX Weekend in a funny metalicy dark bronze colour which is supposed to be green... I bought it of a farmer who did a bit of car dealing on the side, so with the lingering smell before I gave it a good wash it was christened the metalic cow-pat! Heh heh...

I'm a new comer here and i have already found loads of useful information, thanks... but no doubt will have lots more questions.

I really like the Marea ever since they were brand new and my Dad was trying to get his company to let him have one as his new company car and bombarded us all with the brochures...

Mine feels like the first "proper" car I've owned with lots of goodies and easily accomodates the missus the nipper and all their associated toys, bags, trolleys etc and at £2.5k was a bargain.

I really love the low stance at the front, the top of my headlights are lower the the bottom of most other cars' lights when parked side by side.

The Marea HLX bumper is by far the meanest looking bumper in the whole brava/o/marea range, better IMHO than most jazzed up models...

No worries about the questions matey! keep em comming :) The wheels are FOX EVO'S (i think) , the springs were about £140 from Fiat and the skirts were also from fiat at about £150 but you have to buy the fitting kit at £35 a pop.But crimbo is looming quick so it looks like they'll be fitted next year.......And I'm not so good on computers so i'll need some help with the pictures :D

FamilyGuy, it was the low front end that caught my eye. I was looking for a sporty saloon and having not seen a marea before I was taken by its lines as I approached it from the side at the auto parc.
 
Well ive got a 1998 Marea ELX 2L 20V thats got 47000 on the clock, how much would that normally go for as i paid £1750 for it plus £250 p/x for an A reg Sierra, i thought i got a good deal as i loved the look of it, its Burgandy and a really gd drive, anyway please tell me if i got ripped off or got a gd deal :slayer:
 
nice one, im taking it on its first motorway drives soon, going to middlesbrough tomorrow then london on monday hopefully it runs well
