I'm trying to get a Panda Cross with the TwinAir engine, but nowadays it is really difficult to buy it in Spain. The dealers have depleted their stock of TwinAirs, and are desperate to sell the remaining diesel
() units. (I just test drove one Multijet Cross today, and I love the car but hate the "motor". It feels powerful but laaaaaggggy
)
The dealer told me that they are not allowed to order new units because the "series 1" is over, and until the release of the "series 2" Panda Cross the only possibilities are either buy their ¿demo? units or transfer the available TwinAir from a distant seller, but it takes two weeks and must be paid without a test drive. It is too much money to regret the buy from day one (like could have happened with a blind-buy of the Multijet).
Besides, I am afraid of paying full price for an old spec "series 1", just to find some big improvement next week or next month...
Do you have any info on the series 2 differences? There have been big improvements in the past when stepping the series number?
