:):):) Hi Guys

Keep getting the 'antipinch' warning on the dash
over the last couple of weeks or so.

Anyone have an idea where this sensor or maybe
where the wiring goes into the door?

It could be just a loose connector or similar, so any
help would be appreciated as the warning beeps are
driving me mad. LoL.

Have tried the search feature, but comes up with nil.

Thanks for looking and any info you can help with.

Cheers + Beers ;)

Hello

There is a large circular connector between the door hinges that you could have a look at first to check contacts are clean and moisture free with good connector fitting, before having to look at removing door cards, I do not know if the warning indicates which door is the problem so you would then need to check all electric window door connectors, multiscan software would inform you of the window at fault., could try also disconnecting car battery for 30 minutes and then do a window up/down test and see if it helps matters should it be a temporary issue with the pinch sensor.after checking large connectors.

I used to get this problem all the time!
It used to do my head in!
My car door used to squeak a lot aswell though so one day while cleaning my car I sprayed the door hinges with WD45 and it hasn't done it since so you could try that either the WD45 fixed it or it just grew out of it,

Anyways I read it up in my manual and it could be to do with the window not fully shutting so try getting a cotton bud and just cleaning in between the window seals and if that doesn't work try doing what mhowes said, but it could just be something simple like to much grot in between the window seals

P.s I'm going off my Stilo 1.6 dynamic 3dr 2002 manual by the way so not sure if it'll be same but can't see why it wouldn't be

:) Hi Guys and thanks for your replies.

The fault I have with the antipinch sensor has
been indicated on the dash warning message, with
the arrow pointing to the passenger door.
So guess I will start there with the tips you have
given me.

Don't think it is going to be a major problem, just
anoying - will let you know how I get on.

Thanks again for your input - much appreciated.

Cheers - Linamp ;)

Exactly the same door I had the problem with,
I know how annoying it is! I'm sure you can turn down the beeping noise in the menu in one of the options
If you can then just turn the radio on

Also I had a new battery 3 weeks ago now and I've never had it since so you could try disconnecting the batter leaving it for a while and then connecting it back up that might also work cause even after the WD45 and cleaning the seal I still got it like 1s a week but since new battery never had the problem
