I have a 1998 Seicento 1.1i (after previously owning a Suzuki off roading monster and to say the least its a big difference). Today after muchos rainfall I struggled to avoid the puddles (my 4x4 has a snorkle:D ) and by the time I was getting near work she was idling much lower than previous and felt like she was stuttering abit:cry:

Does she just need to dry out or could this be something more sinister:devil: ?

When I put my foot down she seemed fine.

will that be highlighted by driving through puddles?

(fingers crossed my car starts ok this evening... update: just nipped out to check on her :) and she started no problem and idled fine. thinking i should go the long way home and get her well warmed up and listen out for any noises etc.)

(HT leads being?)

connect the coil pack to the spark plugs.
the thick black leads going over the top/back of the engine.
the insualtion breaks down on them with age,go out when its dark and look under the bonnet with the engine running.
you can often see little sparks arcing off the leads if there breaking down

thank you squire. i know what you mean now:)

Changed my drive into work to cut out the country lanes which is a bit slower cos of some tw*t in a ford escort. If you dont have anywhere to go at any particular time/rush get off the roads during morning commuting time. damnit. Anyway she went fine.

just noticed you are in cheshire lolita. i love the country roads round cheshire loads of fun espically in the dark and very wet
