Technical Another Mirror Snapped

Bugger!
I've another mirror snapped off, this time the drivers side.

Does anyone how if the inner trim panel just pulls off?

I seem to remember the near side panel just popped off so I could get to all the bolts for the mirror unit, but the offside inner panel has the mirror controller on the panel and I don't want to start jemming it if it's somehow attached!

You can just prise the near side trim panel off (it's held on with three spring clips), but I haven't tried the off side. Sorry - not much help

I've taken off both sides on mine, but it has the steering wheel on the left side. Both had the same interface (3 clips) holding them in place. There is a connector for the mirror adjuster on the back, but it is enough slack to release the trim without hassle.

I've converted mine to speaker pods.

I bit the bullet and gave it a yank this afternoon.
It did pop off like the other side!
