Yes, that's true! I've only owned two cars since passing my test. The first one had alloy wheels, which I loved the look of, hence desperately wanting alloys on my panda!

I had a set of alloy wheels and tyres for the Seicento from these people for a very reasonable price. They are even more likely to have Panda and Punto alloys.
