I'm sure Jai got his alloys done for something like 35 quid a wheel at a place in Herts/ Beds (can't remember for sure). Drop him a PM and he'll tell you where he got them done (y)

Cheers for that but its too far away for me, esp if I have to go back for any reason but appreciate the thought.(y)

he did!:p two sets, one white, one silver, and very nice too. will be returning later this year for another set or two for the tubs......wheel whoredom has its price.....

at £140 for a set of 4, would have to be a fair old distance away for it not to be worthwhile. as for quality, looking round the mountains of set they had for evry brand of car and whel, they were all flawless, beautifully turned out, and the work on the two very manky sets i gave them was no exception

And I can attest to how good they looked! Was very surprised that Jai managed to get quality for such a low price but they really do look smart in person as well as in pictures (y)

Compared with the prices you were quoted Ffoxy, it might well be worth traveling a bit further to get yours done?

Plus the deal with Mrs Ffoxy was that she could get some clothes to the equivalent value and her preferred shopping place was.....?

Spoken like a truly young and single fella Carl lol!
I go regularly to The Mailbox, we have an office in the building.
Its her choice what "tat" she buys at what price (actually she is very finance orientated), just as its my choice to have my wheels done.
She has a full time job (at the mo) so she is entitled to make the choice, I work full time too (at the mo) so I can choose to have my wheels done, she doesnt understand it at all but hey....

fair enough then.

Ive just been quoted £45 per wheel, full strip and refurbish. If tyres are fitted this will be plus £7.50+vat per wheel for removal, refit new valves and balanced. But because I wanted my ST wheels coloured, and if I got all 8 wheels done then the 8th wheel will be free

My quote was for the whole shizzle Lee, drive in, wheels off, tyres off, dipped, medium blasted, powder coated to colour of choice, multi layered laquer, Infra red dried, tyres refitted with new valves, wheels re-balanced and drive out.
