Alarm / Locking Help

Some of you know for those who don't my car is equipped with a total enclosure alarm system (shuts windows etc) it aint a brand such as Clifford or Toad but does a very good job, Had my car locked on the mrs's drive for past 4 hours, by now it's frrrrrrrrreezing outside, just disarmed my car and the doors failed to unlock, Switched alarm on and off, on and off etc etc and the locking just aint working (works fine with key)

Any ideas as to what the fault may be or what could be frozen??

Alarm works fine, Locking works fine with key, both together - no go!
