Alarm/Central Locking

Hey people i need a little help, Iv got a bravo 1.4sx on N plate (1996 i think)
Any idea what mark is not sure myself,

Anyway. Reason i need help is iv got a autowatch alarm/locking on car, is this what the car is suppose to come with??. When you take the fuse cover off theirs a hole, where alarm on/off is supposed to be theirs nothing is there.

Also there is car sensors top of pillars at both sides they don't work would really like to understand how to make it work properly so little twats don't nick it, also only got one key fob which has broken off keys anyone know where I can get anymore.


Iv found the key which turns the alarm off, in engine bay top of the siren not sure if it came with the car when bought or is after market alarm would really like any feed back thanx and good day to you all.

Your car is a MK 1

UK Spec cars don't have the Alarm On/Off inside the fuse box. However unlike mine, which is imported does, but no-one has them on here when i asked.

The Fiat Alarm has the sensors for the alarm in the sunroof/courtesy light console above your head. If they are anyplace else then its an aftermarket alarm.

Keys you can get copied and recut either at Fiat (you require the code card which isn't supllied with the car so you need to pull it off the registrar at Fiat for about £15) for alot of £££'s or go to Timpsons and they will copy the code over and cut a new key for ya.

By the sounds of your alarm, it may or may not need a keyfob to activate the arming and disarming of the alarm. Since you say you dont have one it could work for when you turn the key to open the doors to deactivate the alarm and when you lock your doors to activate it. The Ford Fiesta used to have a naff alarm like this.

But as i say it may need one, but the previous owner might of not given it you.

My opinion, scrap the alarm and get a new one. Cost between £40 - £300 or get a big shiny DiscLok for £70 approx.

Don't bother, fit a after market one from clifford/toad/microscan etc
works much better and you can add to it at a later date!!!
