Technical Airbag system fault

I have a 2012 Fiat Punto Evo 1.2 that has airbag, seatbelt and yellow triangle illuminated. Mileage flashes, no stop/start function.

I took it to have the codes read and the result was

U0422 Collision data info. Incorrect node data.

The car hasn't been in an accident. The lights just illuminated while driving.

Can someone shed any light on the meaning of this code and associated message?

My daughter had a 2010 Punto Evo that had similar issues and the fault was the passenger seat occupancy sensor, however a poor previous repair destroyed the BCM computer also.
So my advice would be to have a good Diagnostic tool such as MES that many or Forum use or Snap On Zeus that I had access to be used to check exactly what is causing the problem and finally run the "proxi Alignment" program so that all the "sensors" etc can talk to each other. Then the other issues should clear as well.
