Technical Airbag light

I think I already know the answer to this one bit I will ask in hope anyway!!
I took my leather seats out to clean/feed them and realised when I put them back that I should have disconnected the battery as the airbag light now stays on. Is there any way of getting the light to go of without going down the main agent route? kind regards clive.

You could try disconnecting the battery for a few hours in the hope that it will reset, it didn't work for me as I did exactly the same thing. It cost me £30 at the dealers to sort it.

But I could always stick a piece of tape over the light on the dash

It's not an MOT fail so you could remove the bulb but for a couple of quid better safe than sorry. I just wasn't happy with it on, so got it sorted

Did the same. the only fix is Fiat to switch it off. only the computer tool can reset it.

Tell them what you did and pray they do a "Kind offer - no cash offer"

Well I have just found out today from my friendly snap-on tool man that he has just sold a programming module to a nearby garage that I know so I will be paying him a visit when he's worked out how to use it
