Technical Air Bag Warning Light On

My air bag warning light has came on on my JTD 2003. What does this mean and what could be wrong? How much could this cost to repair? Is it a Fiat only repair? Any help would be much appreciated.

so many questions with possibly so many answers.......there are 2 common connector problems on the multipla but you will need to get the light put out by Fiat even if you locate the fault.

have had this problem with my 06 multi found that it was a connection under the passenger seat. i wiggled it around but did not disconnect it then went of the next time i started it. has come on once or twice over the last few months but then went off by itself basically there is only a connection fault you need to wiggle all the yellow connections.
