I removed the transmission module, but it from an Alfa Romeo 159. I wanted to know if this module would fit on a Fiat. I аm thinking about trying to replace it and check.

Ofcourse its a different part number…

Good afternoon, today I replaced the robot module, turned on the ignition, and nothing changed. I tried to clear the errors, but it didn't work either. Everything remained the same, U1601. It started up, and even the gears switched..

Finally, after many years of dealing with this problem, I’ve solved it. Of course, I had already done everything mentioned above, but I knew the issue had to be something else. The wiring was perfect, the connectors were all excellent, all the grounds were cleaned, and I even added extra grounds from the battery to the engine and separately to the chassis.

In the end, I started clearing all the errors through OBD, and as always, one error remained — U1601. But it still allowed me to do the proxy alignment, and it completed successfully. However, the odometer kept flashing, and the gear indicator wasn’t showing on the dashboard.

Then I decided to clear the ABS errors, and for that Multiecuscan asked for the green adapter. I connected it, started deleting all the errors, and everything got cleared. Suddenly the gear display appeared, and everything started working exactly as it should.

Who knows how and why… but whatever, the important thing is that it’s all behind me now.
