Hi People,

Just when you think everything was going ok....

I have had the car up for sale as I can't afford to keep both and now the Marea's ABS light has come up. I don't know whether this is because of a faulty sensor. I'm wondering shall I take a risk and replace the sensor as the front right wheel is skidding or shall I take it down to Fiat's where they'll take my trousers down!

Has anybody had a similar problem? If so how did they get round it?

Also nobody is able to do any diagnostics on the car as it doesn't have the 16 pin connector and it's a main dealer job only. If there is a 16 pin socket where is it?

Thanks

Dan

Ok,

Well I blew the budget totally and I went to 2 different places to get the diagnostics done. 1 place cleared a ECU fault. The other place charged me £30 f'in quid a system. The airbag light was just a reset and the ABS is actually coming up as the pump motor. I have sprayed some WD40 in the ABS pump connector and I've just disconnected the battery. Hopefully this works or otherwise down the scrappy to get another pump!

Thanks

Dan
