I'm thinking about adding either an AUX in or a Fiat to Sony CD Changer Interface connected to a AHDD001.EUR Sony Walkman Adapter (Old Connects2 component) to allow me to connect my Sony NW-A3000 Walkman. The Walkman uses ATRAC3-Plus for its audio. Converting to mp3 will cause it to lose its gapless playback.

Blue&Me occupies the normal (yellow?) aux in slot in the back of the head unit and I believe the only way to accomplish this would be via the CD changer port.

Bluespot do an aux in cable which connects to the blue socket but it states:

These leads are intended for use with better-specified Blaupunkt 'aftermarket' radios, and are not suitable for use with most Blaupunkt navigation systems or factory-fitted radios, including VW Beta / Gamma / Chorus models. They will plug in, but not be recognised by the radio.
Loudlink, Dension, Solisto, XCarlink and several others do adapters to allow Ipod, USB, SD etc. but this is overkill.

Does anyone know if either of these methods are possible and if so what the easiest option is going to be. The head unit is a Fiat 312 SB05 MP3. Currently all the connectors (blue, yellow etc) are black if that makes any difference.

More info:

Had the head unit out. Blue and me connector sits in all three sockets, but only uses phone and aux.

Been to local audio specialist but they haven't got many ideas. Given me the number of the local Blaupunkt specialist.

Wondering if it would be possible to add extra wiring to the Blue&Me plug or some kind of splitter.

sounds the same as the grande punto, check the post i just done about keeping the b&m fuctions with after market h.u's

I don't quite get it. The Blue&Me plug is one solid piece, covering all three parts of the connector. Are you suggesting I just splice the cables from the aux cable into the relevant pins on the existing Blue&Me connector?

Haven't had a chance to speak to Blaupunkt specialist yet.

I did a search for miniiso splitter in google just now and the top result looks like it may be an option.

Update: Just spoke to Blaupunkt guy and he doesn't know either but doesn't think it would be possible.
