I've got a 2001 Citroen Dispatch 2.0hdi Turbo (rebadged Scudo) with a knackered clutch. As these have the dual mass flywheel, a replacement clutch is ridiculous money.

I have a spare 02 Scudo 1.9d which I use for parts & was wondering if the Scudo gearbox & flywheel will go onto the Citroen so I can buy the cheaper standard clutch? Do I need to change driveshafts or anything else as well? Would I be better off just going for the slightly more expensive single mass clutch conversion for the Citroen?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

compare part numbers on ePER, and ebay sellers,

Cheers for the quick reply, I did think about Ebay but after the experience of sellers advertising items incorrectly, it put me off.
I'll check out the exact model vans I have, bhp etc & go down the sensible route you suggested of checking part numbers.

I've checked & the gearbox part numbers are different but it doesn't necessarily mean they're not compatible, anybody out there who has swapped around gearboxes?

1.9 and 2.0 will be different
Can you be more specific, what are the differences between the boxes? I'm not worried about parts like the flywheel, clutch, release bearing & clutch release fork, I have all that stuff from my donor van.

Drive ratios will be different
That's the least of my worries, only thing I'm concerned about is giving up half a days labour pulling the gearbox out of my Scudo to find it doesn't mate up with the engine in the Citroen. The rest of the niggly stuff I can get around.

I wasn't aware of a van that old having gearbox sensors, I had a look on the net & there's nothing out there suggesting that they do.
So back to my original question...Will a 2002 Scudo 1.9d gearbox fit a 2001 Citroen Dispatch 2.0hdi?

Will have craftshaft position sensor camsensor speed sensor

As you're a man of few words, your reply about gearbox sensors was a bit confusing but I'm with you now.
