A few Blue&Me questions...

Hello All!

Had my new 500 Sport for a couple of weeks now, loving the car, the Blue&Me (and how it works with my iPod/iPhone) is the only downside. I've got some questions which I hope can be answered here:

1. How do I find out which version of the software is installed?
2. Can an "aux in" socket be added to the system!!?
3. If 2="no" can I replace the head unit with another one which has aux in!!!?
4. Will fast forward and rewind control EVER be added?

1. You cant. If you try the update, it will fail. It should have the latest version as your car is so new.
2. Probably not. Some people on the GP section have added AUX inputs but this is for cars without B&M. https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto-guides/127299-generic-mp3-input-active-hu.html
3. You can replace the HU, but you will lose B&M
4. Who knows?

If iPod/iPhone is a problem, then why not get the official adapter? Its around £70, but allows Apple products to work with the Microsoft developed software
