The pipe runs out of the roof into the tailgate & connects direct to the washer nozzle, unless it's split with wear and tear. I suppose if the split is in the roof area it would run down the pillar.

All in all, the car has not been too bad.
The sticky fuel guage has sorted itself out (with use) and now leaps up and down when you turn the ignition on / off. I have disconnected the rear wash wipe and the leak in the back of the car has gone but I still seem to have a bit of a weep from the washer reservoir / motors. I'm keeping a close eye on that problem. Other than that she runs really well and I am really enjoying my car.
I just put the rear seats forward and took the dog out to the park. Those of you who remember how shiney my car was yesterday will be very amused to know that whilst I was walking the dog a squadron of seagulls bombed my car good and proper with the white stuff. Do they have something against clean cars or what?

Its my belief that seagulls poo over water, so a shiney car looks like a river/pond, so they relieve themselves over it
