Technical 500D Help! I've got no brakes

Hi there. Can anyone in the universe help with my question please.
I have just replaced master and all slave cylinders along with new shoes all round on my 500D. Have bled the system from farthest cylinder to closest, pumping around 1.5 litres on fresh brake fluid. There are no bubbles in the fluid and no apparent leaks but despite this, I still have no brakes and the pedal still goes to the floor.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

You could try clamping off the brake flexible hoses and see if your pedal improves - if it does, it suggests the brake shoes are not adjusted correctly.

If you have no way of clamping the brake hoses, try applying the parking brake, if your pedal improves a little, this also suggests the problem is brake shoe adjustment

The 500 has automatic adjusters fitted on all the brake shoes. These rely on friction to maintain the correct brake shoe to brake drum adjustment/clearance.

Did you fit new brake shoe return springs?

Many on here have had this problem after rebuilding the braking system and found that the replacement springs were too strong, were overcoming the friction of the adjusters and pulling the brake shoes too far back from the brake drums, resulting in a very long pedal.
The cure was to either refit the original return springs or to stretch the new springs by approx. 6mm (1/4 inch) so that the adjusters could then work correctly.

Once this is done, and you have a reasonable pedal, you might get a further improvement in reducing the pedal travel by reversing (backing up) the car and applying the brakes sharply several times as you travel backwards - this helps the trailing brake shoes to adjust up correctly.

Silly question but did you fit the plunger properly? The rod between the pedal and master cylinder.
