Hello all,
I have an odd issue that I can't get to the bottom of. We have a 2010 lounge and had the power steering motor changed about 4 years ago due to intermittent loss of assistance. Ever since the new motor was fitted the assistance is great when stationary but as soon as you get above about 5 mph the assistance drops off to almost zero, coming back on when you slow down. I understand it is speed sensitive so must take an input from somewhere. No other faults show such as abs so I'm not sure where the spped signal comes from.
The steering position sensor has been reset but to no avail.Any ideas?
Thanks Glen
