I’m struggling to find ends that slot in or do I put the wires in and crimp? I’m thinking no as the small ones are tiny .... can anyone recommend any on eBay?

There is a metal tube.. in a plastic sleeve. If you look carefully.. the amount of plastc overhanging is equal both ends.. I would say CRIMP study the repair threads on here.. bet their cables look pretty similar
