With Multiscanecu i reset self learned functions and self adaption parameter reset. Now the car will not crank at all with no errors displayed . I thought it was the immobiliser not recognised but all look correct when looking through parameters if i press remote button it displays code and immob . When i try to neutral signal learn after 1 sec unknown is displayed. Clutch pedal calibrates fine and can see in parameters all positions of clutch pedal. Errors P1110-54 - Fuel supply system - Missing calibration ,P1300-55 - Phonic wheel learn - Not configured.
Should the car crank without setting up Phonic wheel learn and neutral position ? Within parameters gear engage shows N whether in neutral or in gear
Before i reset everything car ran perfect and started great. I reset everything as when A/C switched on every now and again when shifting down from 2nd or 3rd gear the engine would stall/cut out but would restart when clutch pressed. This only ever happen when A/C on.
I have checked every fuse in BCM fuse box and engine fuse box with a multi meter. On starter relay on engine fuse box power is correct from ign key to large pins of relay but switching power is only 9v and earth opposite . Starter will activate if i join the large pins together on relay socket and turn the key engine will turn over but not start. It is like the immobiliser is active but there is nothing on dash to say anything not normal. When ign turn on the fuel pump powers up as normal.Could the reset changed a setting or has it bricked the BCM/ECU.

Any help would be much appreciated

IIRC immobiliser will cut spark and/or fuel. It would still crank. Does it crank with clutch depressed?

gr J
No will not turn over at all can see the clutch in parameters 1 and 2
I thought the car should start no clutch and gear lever in neutral?
Clutch pedal learns fine

But have you tried cranking with the clutch depressed?
Some 500's require pressing clutchpedal. Maybe you activated this by resetting.

gr J
Yes I have tried pressing clutch pedal whilst pressing clutch
The starter relay is not getting 12v signal from BCM that why i was thinking it was the immobiliser but fuel pump primes. I have had starter engaged by bridging relay but car does not start

IIRC, isnt there a proceedure after resetting learning etc.
Something along the lines of disconnecting the battery waiting x time replace neg terminal, and tuning key but not startin. Then turn key off wait 60 secs turn key on again and press throttle.
Something weird like that. Might be on the MES forums.
Just a thought, cheap fix, but for a bit of searching.

I'll have a search later....

Hi, I have tried as above and with some variations but still no start.
I have searched the web high and low and cannot find any info same fault as mine
Found very little on MES about none starter most posts are about engine earth lead which mine if fine and i had already fitted another lead in addition.
If you have the info it would be very much appreciated.

While I search for it, have you tried using another key?

Different key

Thanks have tried all these many times now . I think the reset must have damaged the BCM

MY 2019, and no this vehicle has never been in an accident, I am the first owner and bought it new.
Anyway after about two hours of thinking and trying to do something in MES, I found the solution.
Just do the "Fuel supply system purge" procedure, BUT (BUT!) do not turn key to OFF when MES tells you to do so! Wait at least 10 to 15 seconds before turning key OFF. I think ECU sends "command finished" message to OBD and so MES tells you the procedure is finished and to turn key off. But this is wrong because in this moment the ECU has just started the fuel supply system learning procedure!
After waiting the correct times, the vehicle started without any problem and no more DTCs

Strangely exactly the problem you are having , with a solution to problem using MES

The proceedure described here

Wow thanks for that did the fuel pressure purge and before turning key off 15 secs extra .Tried to start and instantly engine started. What a relief.
I take it all the other calibrations for clutch and neutral learn are as instructed on MES no extra time needed?
Thank you everyone who has helped
