Hi guys

Old version of MES (2018 vintage) wouldn’t recognise new van engine or abs, but the body/ECU was

Only showed ISO codes for the engine etc

But it would let me clear DPF matter sensor fault, and reset oil degradation (early oil change)

Now I’ve had to install MES on new laptop yesterday buying 4.6R license

Nothing is recognised?
It scans then says complete
Nothing else on screen

Am I doing something wrong, do I need drivers fir elm327 cables that worked fine before laptop change

Any advice?

Thanks
Neil

You said in another thread that you can't use your previous version of MES as it's gone now.

You can download older versions from the MES site, and the current licence should work for any of them.

All I can suggest is to install the version you were previously using, and see if that works as it did before. You'll at least figure out whether it is MES or your laptop that has the problem.

Check your adapter/interface settings make sure it detects your interface on the test section

Spot on mate, just need to get the issues sorted now haha, not bad for 2 months old

Thank you IMG_4166.JPG
