Technical 3rd Rear Seat Belt retro fitted

I just couldn't imagine three adults sitting comfortably in the back of my Panda. I don't think the seat is wide enough for three.

It's not exactly comfortable for one adult imho.

Just had a third 3 point belt fitted in the back of my 100HP by the dealer as part of the deal, all genuine Fiat parts and a very tidy job. Just thought I'd let everyone know it was possible.

I need the same mod. to our 06 Dynamic. Would be interested in the name of the dealer , the parts needed and the approximate price. Seicentosporting 2

I know I can only just fit 3 late teens in the back of my mk2 Panda.

It irritated me so much that when I upgraded to my latest one (auto) I hid the central belt under the rear seat and said it was only a 4 seater so I didn't always have to take as many mates

That's a problem we're going to have with our 500. Sorry honey we can't take your mum because it's only a 3 door and with your mums hip it's not going to be comfy

OT though, I don't think I'd want the 3rd seat belt retro fitted. It's down as a factory only option for a reason. I wouldn't feel safe having a dealership install one.

It's only a bolt-in job - just like all the others. But hey.

If fitting the factor fitted system then yes, not if a dealer fit lap belt like some used to offer

What about insurance?

Cars with the factory fitted option will be shown as 5 seaters on their V5C; the rest will be 4 seaters.

If you have an accident in a 4 seater car with 5 people in it, you could potentially run into all sorts of grief.
