Technical 20v, what bhp?

Has anybody got any idea how much bhp the standard 20v bottom end can take?,

According to the webpage i got it off a 20v but thats all it said and i havnt compared the pic to any 20v.

probably vw then, it doesnt look like a fiat one.

the crank will be okay for some big power but the pistons/rings/rods & valves will probably melt/bend after 200bhp ish

you really want to be starting with a 20vT engine if your going to try super & turbo charge it.

I think I agree, so I'll use my original engine as a mockup and get everything in the right place and running ok on low boost, as an aside the car has ran 261bhp with nitrous, but that's just for a short burst
