2003 Punto 1.2 Lost Drive

Hi would be grateful of any help, Went out to pick daughter up then all of a sudden lost all drive. Getting a strange noise when engine is running and in neutral but when i press the clutch in noise goes away, Can get it into all gears but when i lift the clutch noise comes back and no drive at all.
