Hello all
I'm not very good in English so I'll try to describe my problem as best as I can. Also my knowledge about cars are mostly theoretical ( for example I know what is cambelt and what does it do but I do not know how to change it )
So my 2001 Bravo 1.9 jtd (74kw) started to have slightly higher idle before 2-3 days, approxmatly form 700 rpm to 900 rpm. Today rpm started to fluctuate from 2000 rpm to 900 rpm. It is like it goes to 1800 rpm, stay there for few sec then comes beck to 900 and stay there a little bit longer. Then it stays for a while on 900 and this fluctuations starts again. Injector warning light comes on when that starts but it does not come off. It does come off when I turn off my car and leave it for a while and start it again. then rpm is on 900 and it stays there for a while but fluctuations starts and injector light comes on.
Is it bad for the engine to drive like that. I'm short with money right now.
BTW I forgot to tell you that it seems there is no loss in engine power.
Also sometimes light which indicates water in the fuel filter flashes. this thing with RPM and injector light happened in 6 am when was 1-2 degrees celsius degrees below zero. Maybe water in fuel filter freezed and that was cause of the problem
I hope you will understand.
I will be thankful for any help or advice .
