Technical 2 things - wheres the reversing light switch and a weird noise when its rained!

1. Reversing lights not coming on so would like to know where the switch is, i take it its on the gearbox somewhere

2. When it has rained I get a strange slapping type of noise, happens at speed, the faster you drive the faster the noise, seems to come from the front but only when its been raining! been like this for months now but cant find anything, anyone had/got same problem

Hi,

Reversing light switch is on the transmission/gearbox but don't know where.

Strange one about the slapping noise, only thing I can think of is a bit of missing tread, tread defect or a split in the tread that causes the water to jet out differently causing the noise.
