I'm hoping you guys are a little more helpful and friendly than the Punto section :p

I'm after a good exhaust manifold for my 1242 16v conversion and wondered what you guys are using in yours.

Is there actually a reasonably priced tubular exhaust manifold out there that will fit a 1242 16v MPI engine from a Punto Sporting?

oooh also - external fuel pumps. For those that have a 1242 conversion could you give any advice on what fuel pump and or swirl pot to use?

Anybody selling a used or new perfomance exhaust manifold please let me know

Thanks,

Alex :)

My engine is a 1998 I think. Having trouble deciding though as I didn't see the actual car it came from to make not of the registration or shape.

I even thought I'd been duped into buying an 8v engine after I got it home and noticed there were'nt two visable camshaft pulleys like on your average DOHC engine. Was reasurred though when I took the manifolds off and saw all 16 valves. Also 16V is stamped into the crankcase :)

Just checked out the link, seems the general price is around £300 :(

You don't happen to have one for sale, or know anyone who has, by any chance do you?
