Hi all,

I'm having a bit of a problem finding the correct replacement coolant pipe for my 100HP. I bought a cheap pattern part first (about £18 off Ebay), but found that where the pipe enters the block behind the water pump, it doesn't fit- it's slightly too big with the rubber on it. I tried freezing it and using silicone grease, but it just doesn't fit. I then bit the bullet and bought what I thought was an OEM pipe (part no 55245750), only to find that this is also too big. In this case, the end of the pipe is slightly crimped where it goes into the block, which makes it too big. I've attached some photos to illustrate the difference.

Has anyone done a replacement on the 100HP and do you happen to have the correct part number please?
Cheers

No, I've removed as much as possible of the old rubber seal, which was heat bonded to the hole where the pipe goes. I'm at a bit of a loss- the supplie rof the OEM pipe says that its an updated design, but should still fit, but it's about 4mm too big in diameter.
