well she's got full service history and there's nothing in the paperwork to suggest a belt change was done and the car has wanted for nothing in the past, if i remember correctly it used to idle around the same before "that morning" so when it was cold that morning i think the belt must have slipped a little thus giving me the problems i had.
Tell you what though, the fact it doesnt die anymore and doesnt chugg at the lights im willing to settle for a slightly higher tickover hahahaha, but like you say when i get the leak sorted she may settle down!
im not taking it back the F1 autocentres to get the exhaust sorted yet again as that will be the 5th time in as many months. im thinking of putting a different back box on it as this one they have put on is cheaper than cheap hence why it keeps leaking!
with regards to the suspension i have found a "P.I" spring kit for £145 that will lower the car by 40mm but i have searched the forum and i believe that i need dampers aswell so i cant be botherd hahahaha
