How come my Multiair Bravo needs a cambelt change at 72k miles / 5 years (4 years for heavy duty usage) when the same engine fitted to a Dodge Dart (whatever that is) in the USA has a 150k miles / 15 years change interval ?

I can't believe it's down to climatic differences as parts of the US have a harsher climate than even I experience in Northern Scotland.
