Technical 1.4 16v Crankshaft pulley alignment

Hello everyone,

I took my crankshaft pulley off but forgot to note it's orientation.
I am unsure if the 'mark' where there's no teeth on the pulley should be aligned with the crankshaft position sensor at TDC or when 1st and 2nd cylinder are aligned (the way you time the engine).
Could anyone please let me know how I can align it?

Have a look to see if there is a pip on crank sprocket that fits in a hole in pulley.
