1.2 16v sporting head gasket

it was blowing antifreeze out at the cap, knew it was headgasket, but today i opened it up cuz i sold head and saw this

previous owner said headgasket was replaced without skimming is that the reason that it happened again shortly afterwards?

Who can say? But probably yes....

That head hasn't been touched since it failed, they just stuck a new gasket on and torqued it up using the old stretch bolts.

It needs a standard refresh and skim, then refitting with a decent gasket set and new head bolts. Under £100 unless it's really warped...
