Technical 1.2 16v cinq help .

Hello! This is my first post in a very long time but I need some advice on the loom for a 1.2 16v engine .
This has the fly by wire throttle but when the scrap man Gave me the engine and parts I was left with nothing to plug it into. So my question is what part of the loom and bits will I need to use that pedal ? Also what's all needed to make this run in terms of code boxes and start signals ?
Any advice on wiring this would be a great help lol

Hey Owen,

Er, in short, you're going to need more than wiring to make that work.

The gas pedal must connect to a rotary encoder, to generate the control for the throttle- I suspect at the moment you have a conventional mechanical linkage on a cable under the bonnet.

This isn't quite my area and I have to admit to this being the first time I've heard of a drive by wire on the 1.2.

I suspect you'll need to go back and try for the original wiring loom and ECU, also.

Hmm well I'm stuck with it so gonna have to make it work .
I've a few questions also.
Does the inlet fuel pipe go straight into the top of the fuel rail ? What about the return line and pressor sensor ? I'm going to assume I need to T in the sensor too the fuel in side.

As for making her run , the connector on the engine I have does anyone have a pin out or know what these blocks do,mainly the 2 blue coloured ones.

Also , the stock manifold for the 16v, will I need an aftermarket exhaust manifold to make it fit or can I use the stock one for now and adapt rest of pipe ?

These are the two things I can't figure out , where the throttle pedal needs to be wired into and the best way Todo the fuel lines.
